Xueqi Li is currently an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS). He is the founder of URSA (XPU-driven Research on System and Architecture) research group in ICT. He received his Ph.D. degree from ICT, CAS under the supervision of Prof. Ninghui Sun. From 2018-2020, he was also co-advised by Prof. Yuan Xie as a joint Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Santa Barbara. His current research is on Domain-specific PIM accelerators (超异构芯片跨层优化) and AI for Life Sciences (数据和智能驱动的生命科学大模型). He also serves as a research assistant for strategic studies at CAS & CAE.
